Welcome to Full Circle Pilates, a one of a kind Pilates Studio located in Chapel Hill, NC. Here, we combine classical Pilates with additional methodologies to promote marked improvements in your physical and mental wellbeing. Explore our site to learn more about us, our services, our team, and so much more. We also offer virtual classes that can be done from the privacy of your own home or hotel room. Virtual classes are offered for mat work and Pilates equipment! When an in-person session is booked, you have one instructor and an entire studio dedicated to you. The studio has upgraded filtrations systems (Trane Clean Effects) and additional HEPA filters located throughout the studio. Equipment is spaced to facilitate social distancing and each person has their own "equipment pod". EPA recommended wipes to prevent disease transmission are used to clean the equipment. ABOUT FULL CIRCLE PILATES
Samantha Chase is a Pilates and CoreAlign instructor and owner of Full Circle Pilates Chapel Hill, NC. She started to practice Pilates in 2004 after experiencing both the increased physical fitness and mind/body health benefits from Pilates. In 2011 while managing the Quality department for a Clinical Trails management company in Rockville, MD, Samantha decided to obtain her mat certification from Power Pilates. Upon moving back to NC, she was excited to find that InsideOut Body Therapies is a licensed teacher training facility for The Pilates Center of Boulder, Colorado. Samantha wanted to attend TPC for several years, but was unable to do so due to her demanding schedule.
In 2012, Samantha decided to leave corporate America and embark upon a new career. She attended Pilates Then and Now, a workshop by Second Generation Master Rachel Taylor Segal, and continued on to graduate from the 950-hour training program. She completed her internship at InsideOut Body Therapies in 2013 under the guidance of Mischa Decker and Deborah Matthews and subsequently became a Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) Certified Pilates Instructor. Samantha’s classical training, analytical background, and keen eye for details has led to her personal style in both aiding clients in body rehabilitation efforts and increasing strength and coordination of athletes. Training and working at InsideOut Body Therapies has allowed Samantha to work side by side with Physical Therapists daily to further her education. Due to this unique environment, Samantha has worked with clients recovering from knee and hip replacements, labral tears, rotator cuff tears, plantar fasciitis, frozen shoulder, SI joint disfunction, disc herniation and degeneration as well as countless other injuries.
In both 2013 and 2014 Samantha attended workshops on the maternal pelvis and Pilates for pre- and post-natal clients. Always thirsty for new knowledge, Samantha attends continuing education on a regular basis. In 2014 she was honored to train with First Generation Masters Lolita San Miguel (History of the Pilates Method, the Ped-O-Pull, and other Pilates Props) and Mary Bowen (Body and the Psyche: The Wonder of the Trapeze and the Wonder of the 4th Function). In addition, she attended the Defy Gravity workshop presented by Second Generation Master Amy Taylor Alpers.
Samantha continued her training beyond Pilates in 2017 by attending CoreAlign 1: Foundations Training with Joy Puleo of Balanced Body. In 2018 she completed CoreAlign 2:Progressions Training and enjoys introducing her clients to this additional piece of equipment that integrates with Pilates beautifully.
In 2019 Samantha traveled to Denver, Co to study with Cara Reeser and Laura Karpinski at Pilates Aligned. On June 23, 2019 she completed The Heritage Program, a 75 plus contact hour program focusing on Pilates Elder Kathy Grant's teaching methods passed down through Cara. To this day, there isn't an hour of teaching that doesn't have something from that training incorporated into it!
In 2021 Samantha moved Full Circle Pilates from it's Raleigh location to Chapel Hill, NC.
Samantha’s ultimate fitness goal is to obtain the athleticism and fluidity displayed by her cat Dizzy. Perhaps in the next life…

During COVID-19, in-person Private Sessions are on hold until April 20. Fully vaccinated individuals are welcome to book an in-person session. Virtual Privates may be requested by contacting the studio.
This particular class helps build a strong core from which one can transition into new positions and exercises. This flow centers around control and precision, with a diversity of exercises and modifications to suit a wide range of levels from beginner to advanced. With this class, you will learn and practice the tools needed to lead a healthy and fit lifestyle, while also remaining mindful in every act you perform.

Duet Pilates (2-person training) is so much fun and a great way to stay committed to a regular workout schedule as you'll be committed to a friend! Reap the benefits of private Pilates training with the motivation that comes from training with an exercise partner at a discounted price.

Semi-private (3 people) workout on the Pilates apparatus’ (reformer, cadillac, chair). A great way to learn and deepen the Pilates method in a very small group workout.
Classes on hold
During COVID-19, in-person Equipment Sessions are on hold. Virtual Equipment classes for those that own their own equipment may be requested by contacting the studio.
This class will alternate between the Reformer, Chair and Cadillac. Samantha will flow with the group and lead a workout that is sure to invigorate you.
